Hollis Cobb Associates will be celebrating our 40th year in business next year. Founded in 1977, by Hollis L. Cobb, the company’s first office was located on Peachtree Street, and the very first client was Northside Hospital in Atlanta. Over the last four decades, we have grown and expanded to include three additional offices and hundreds of clients across the country, yet our very first client, Northside Hospital, remains a valued client today.
We are proud to support the hospital this year by being one of their Silver Special Event Sponsors. Hollis Cobb Vice Chairman, Michael Cobb, noted that the company is happy to support its first client by sponsoring fundraising events that serve the community. In May, we took part in the 2016 Charity Golf Tournament to benefit the hospital’s Blood and Bone Marrow Transplant Program and General Research Program. Our Silver Sponsorship also contributed to the Bariatric Patient Program Reunion in August, and last week we supported the 2016 Wine, Women and Shoes Event which raises funds for the Women’s Cancer and Leukemia Programs at Northside Hospital.
Other events are scheduled for the remainder of 2016, and Hollis Cobb’s sponsorship will support fundraising efforts for those events as well. In October, the Tennis against Breast Cancer Event will cover two weekends and will benefit the hospital’s Breast Cancer Program. Several Hollis Cobb staff members play in the tennis match every year. The Annual Miracle Babies Event is scheduled for November 4, and will benefit Special Care Nursery Families at the hospital. Finally, Hollis Cobb is honored to take part in the annual Celebration of Lights in December which benefits the Northside Hospital Cancer Program.
The health of our community is important to Hollis Cobb leadership and staff; therefore we are avid supporters of hospital programs benefiting our clients’ patient populations. We are not only business partners with our many clients, but partners in our community and nation, supporting programs that promote the health and welfare of the patients we all serve.
