A long time sponsor of Georgia HFMA (Healthcare Financial Management Association), Hollis Cobb Associates has signed on to be a Diamond Sponsor for the organization’s upcoming regional conference, Thrive with Region 5! Set for March 21-24 in Savannah, Georgia, the annual educational event is hosted by Georgia this year, and will include HFMA members from Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina and Florida. Hollis Cobb is providing themed shirts for the Thrive at Region 5 organizers to wear during the conference. Over 500 leaders from hospitals in the five Southeastern states, along with representatives from service industries that support health systems, will be attending the conference at the Westin Hotel on the River Front in Savannah.
The event will open with a golf tournament at The Club at Savannah Harbor which overlooks historic downtown Savannah and the Savannah River. Hollis Cobb chairman, Alan Cobb, will be playing in the tournament with some of our clients. Later in the evening, conference attendees will enjoy one of the acclaimed Ghost Tours in the “haunted” section of Savannah.
Celebrating our 40th year in business this year, Hollis Cobb has some special activities planned at our exhibit which will be located on the 2nd floor in the conference area at the Westin. Our clients will receive a special gift, and all attendees are invited to stop by our booth to answer trivia questions from 1977, the year we were founded. Those answering correctly will win prizes. Everyone visiting our booth may also enter our drawing for tickets to an Atlanta Braves Game, and enjoy a scrumptious praline from Savannah’s River Street Sweets.
The evening of March 22, Hollis Cobb CEO, Greg Hocutt, and staff will host a dinner party for clients and some prospective clients as well. The event will take place at Vic’s on the River, and guests will enjoy gourmet food and desserts unique to Savannah, while they listen to hits from the seventies and help us celebrate our first 40 years.
