Hollis Cobb leadership and staff has seen hard work and commitment to clients pay off in 2017 with record revenues, new contracts and expanded services.
This year the staff nationwide has nearly doubled with personnel added to Early Out, Bad Debt, Insurance Follow-Up, Client Services and Support staff, along with an increase in onsite employees working at various client locations.
Patient Access services such as pre-authorization and pre-registration were added to Hollis Cobb’s offerings in 2016, and this year those services were further expanded to include Customer Service Overflow calls, Scheduling, Financial Counseling, Upfront Collections and Analyst positions for Quality Assurance. These functions are handled at our corporate office in Metro Atlanta or on site at the client location, based on client needs.
One client has contracted with Hollis Cobb to completely outsource their Customer Service Department, enabling them to move their former customer service staff to other departments that were short staffed. Another client saw up front collection records shattered due to the addition of our staff to their Patient Access Department.
New clients were signed in 2017 in California, Texas and Pennsylvania, and our services were expanded at existing client offices all over the U.S. For the first time in the company’s 40-year history, our Early Out inventory now exceeds our Bad Debt inventory which further demonstrates the shift in client needs from back end to front end.
Earlier this year, our clients visited our office to help us celebrate our 40-year anniversary. They joined the staff for lunch and toured our Operations area. The year 2017 was definitely a year to celebrate as we saw revenue generation records broken.
Hollis Cobb’s goal is to be the go-to business partner for our clients for any revenue cycle needs. Our leadership is creative and innovative when it comes to finding ways to help our clients overcome obstacles and face the challenges before them. We are ready for 2018 and excited to see what the New Year will bring!
