rev-cy-mgmtHollis Cobb CEO Greg Hocutt will be sharing his knowledge and experience with attendees of the Revenue Cycle Roundtable hosted by the Mississippi Hospital Association (MHA) March 21. Along with addressing overall revenue cycle management challenges and solutions, Greg will participate in an IRS 501r Post Implementation Panel Discussion. In addition, Hollis Cobb Associates is sponsoring lunch for the event, which allows participants to attend the Roundtable free of charge.

Other topics for discussion on the agenda include Improving Flow in the Professional Credentialing Process, the Patient Estimator Tool and Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act – all hot topics in today’s evolving revenue cycle. The Roundtable will take place at the MHA location in Madison, Mississippi beginning at 9:30am and adjourning at 3:00pm. This is a quarterly event in which MHA identifies current revenue cycle challenges and recruits speakers with expertise in those areas.

gregGreg has been working in the collections/revenue cycle management arena since 1996. He has managed a wide range of portfolios including credit cards, government, auto, debt purchase and medical, but found his niche in healthcare revenue cycle management. Greg has honed his skills in that area, and is an expert at evaluating a health system’s total revenue cycle, identifying the weak areas and helping system managers develop solutions that will increase their monthly revenue and strengthen their overall financial health. Greg came to Hollis Cobb from an agency in Alabama in 2008. His strong technical background has helped Hollis Cobb remain on the leading edge of technological advancements in revenue cycle management. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Management from the University of Alabama, and is a frequent speaker at healthcare financial management conferences.
