Hollis Cobb Regional Sales Director, Zach Scarboro, owns this week’s Pet of the Week. A 1 ½-year-old Great Pyrenees, Daffodil joined the Scarboro family in November of 2020, and Zach tells her story, “We haven’t been able to locate her birth records, but as far as we know she hails from Alabama.  At around 7 months old, she found herself in the care of animal control after many complaints of rowdy puppy behavior.  They gave her a clean bill of health and she was put up for adoption.”

Zach goes on to explain, “She found a new home quickly, but unfortunately the new owners couldn’t care for her and she moved in to a neighboring foster home.  Her next stop was SSI for Thanksgiving with her foster family who had decided to post her picture on Facebook looking for a loving home.  We saw the post and quickly responded to arrange meeting with her.  It didn’t take long to figure out that she would fit right in with our family.  Daffodil came home with us right away and has provided us with a ton of laughter and joy in the short time she’s been with us.  She’s a big fan of searching for sea life on the beach, frequent naps, and lots of treats.”
