Hollis Cobb’s leadership is always there to support our clients’ fundraising efforts designed to better serve the patients in their communities. And when golf is involved in those efforts, it is even better.
Last week, Hollis Cobb President and CEO, Greg Hocutt, and CFO Ken Rubin traveled to Montgomery, Alabama to take part in Jackson Hospital’s 15th Annual Swinging Fore Healthcare Golf Tournament. Rounding out their team were David Ralston, AVP of Revenue Cycle for the hospital and Brigadier General Ed Crowell, a member of the Jackson Hospital Board of Trustees.
The yearly golf tournament directly benefits the lives of patients in Jackson Hospital’s community by raising essential funding for healthier hearts. The goal of the tournament organizers is to add strength and hope to neighbors, friends, and families of the River Region by raising funds to improve cardiac care.
The Jackson Hospital Foundation was created to help build a healthier River Region by supporting the care and services provided by Jackson Hospital. Hollis Cobb was proud to serve as a Gold Sponsor/Business Friend for this important event.
The tournament raised over $100,000 to support cardiovascular care at Jackson Hospital. Supporters also provided a car for a hole-in-one prize, a helicopter ball drop, a competition for the most unique vendor tent and a Physicians Cup Challenge for teams with one or more physicians.
The leadership at Hollis Cobb is dedicated to, not only providing superior revenue cycle services to our clients, but going that extra mile to support our clients on a more personal level by helping them raise funds to improve their total patient care.
