The entire staff at Hollis Cobb has wrapped up the first week of remote work without missing a beat. All employees successfully transitioned to a remote work environment to ensure their safety during the COVID-19 crisis. Hollis Cobb clients have experienced no break in services provided, and the company leadership is pleased with the employees’ hard work and commitment to continuing to provide superior services to all clients.

“We are so proud of our employees during this difficult time, and their dedication to Hollis Cobb and the clients we represent,” said CEO Greg Hocutt adding that, “Our employees have stayed engaged, ready to work, and we even have new classes of recruits that are excited to join our ranks.”

Hollis Cobb’s information technology team arranged for hundreds of employees to work from home with Hollis Cobb equipment that has been modified to meet the company’s and all clients’ strict security standards. All phone calls are continuing to be recorded and analyzed through our call mining software to ensure the quality of each interaction with each patient.

Our quality control department is focusing on all at-home employees to ensure all work activities are managed appropriately and all work standards are met. Prior to transitioning to a work-from-home environment, all employees signed an attestation to the privacy of their home work space, and their ability to work at home in a manner that maintains the confidentiality of all client and patient information.

Hollis Cobb COO, Floyd Lawson, explained “there has been no degradation of services for any of our clients. The call volume has continued to be very good, and all management is pleased with each staff member.” He went on to note that electronic call stats from Hollis Cobb’s speech analytics tool are being utilized to highlight verbiage related to unemployment or COVID-19.

Additionally, our information technology department can tell where any employees are located once they log in as well as what applications they are in and if there is any background noise. All inbound and outbound calls are secure through our Ontario FACS system as all Hollis Cobb teams continue to work diligently to help our clients get through this current challenge.

“Once we are past the COVID-19 problem, we will recall all at-home workers back to the office in Duluth, Georgia,” explained Greg Hocutt. “While the coronavirus has been on our minds for the past month, the reality of the impact to our daily lives has hit all of us hard,” he noted, going on to say, “we think of our loved ones at this time as well as the folks we work with on a daily basis, and we hope that everyone comes through this challenging time with good health.”
