This year, Tamika Nash will celebrate 20 years in Accounts Receivables. Tamika was recently recognized as a top performer, in her role as Key Account Executive at Hollis Cobb Associates.
During her six year tenure with Hollis Cobb, Tamika has been responsible for managing the company’s oldest client. She is also responsible for managing other large hospitals along with their ancillary facilities, and client surveys show that Tamika’s clients give her excellent ratings across the board.
She spearheaded a physician’s Extended Business Office (EBO) program for one of the company’s largest hospital physician groups. She was instrumental in developing specialized services for the group from inception to program implementation. Along with maintaining her current clients, Tamika recently on-boarded a large anesthesia group as well as an organization of home health nurses. She manages the company’s purchased paper portfolio as well.
Tamika brings a wealth of knowledge gleaned over her two decades in the business. Prior to joining the Hollis Cobb team, Tamika worked in Management, Client Services and in other capacities, which have been very valuable within the organization. Her vast experience makes her a vital part of the Hollis Cobb’s, Client Services Department.
Always looking to expand her horizons, Tamika has assisted with a Revenue Cycle Forum sponsored by the Georgia Chapter of HFMA. The event was held in the auditorium of one of her clients’ facilities, and Tamika was there to assist with onsite registration and introduce event speakers. She plans to help the chapter again with future events in the Atlanta area.
When not exercising her talents to benefit the clients at Hollis Cobb, Tamika volunteers at a local hospice spending time with terminally ill patients. She explained, “In their last stages of life, I read, play games, bring flowers or their favorite snacks. I do whatever I can to provide them with a better quality of life during their final stages.”
Tamika is a certified personal chef and a former caterer who still does occasional catering. Her sons enjoy her gourmet cooking talents the most. Tamika’s older son, 20 is a junior at Georgia Southern and her younger son, 14, is a rising 9th grader. She enjoys traveling with her sons as well as working on do-it-yourself home improvement projects.
Always looking to increase her knowledge and hone her skills, Tamika is one of the reasons Hollis Cobb clients experience exceptional service and maximum recoveries.
