This week’s Hollis Cobb Pets of the Week belong to cat-lover, Pete Kraus, Business Analyst with Emory Healthcare for the last 32 years.
“Three cats currently rule my household,” Pete explained. Two of the cats, Corliss and Pegeen were adopted back in October from a foster family, and they just turned one-year-old. “They are fearless and spirited, but a lot of fun,” he said.
Later in December, Pete adopted their mother, Blossom Dearie, named for the late jazz pianist and singer. She comes from a feral background, but was captured while pregnant. “She’s a real sweetheart, although she tends to disappear when visitors come calling,” Pete said of Blossom.
No doubt these three cats are very fortunate to have found a loving, caring home with Pete Kraus.
